Our Story

Creativity. Expertise. Passion.

High Magic was born out of the creativity and passion of its two co-founders, Christina Thelin and Zaheer Goodman-Bhyat.

​

Christina has an extensive background in building and scaling global brands over the past 19 years, including Google, Twitter, VISA and Procter & Gamble. Most recently, Christina served as CMO in the Web3 space at Kreatr and as VP of Marketing (Acting CMO) at Rarible. Christina is an award winning brand and marketing leader, having won a Gold Cannes Lion for her leadership on Twitter’s ‘It’s What’s Happening Campaign’ as well as her leadership on Visa’s Sochi Winter Olympics Campaign. She also founded an online retail platform and interior design business.

Zaheer is a serial entrepreneur and creative at heart, having built an impressive portfolio of successful companies. He earned his first million dollars at the age of 25 managing hedge funds, founded a bank in his late twenties and spent the next 20 years producing award-winning international films and ads for Fortune 100 companies as CEO of Light & Dark Films. His film THE FORGIVEN starring Forest Whitaker, about Archbishop Desmond Tutu's restorative justice work in South Africa, opened the London film festival and has been written about in textbooks and taught in film schools worldwide.

Christina and Zaheer both joined the Web3 space in early 2021 and were introduced to each other through mutual acquaintances who insisted they needed to meet. The two finally connected at NFT.NYC and started collaborating ever since that first meeting, co-founding the On_Discourse DAO and, most recently, High Magic.
